I've been working on a project the last few days. I took a break and got the camera out and took a few shots around the yard. I love flowers and the many varieties that we can choose from. We had a microburst wind go through the other night and there were so many flowers that blew off this tree. I was so surprised to notice today just how many flowers there still were!

The Chubby Boy With The Fat Boy
We opened up the big box of Fat Boys that we bought from Ross for his soccer fundraiser. Benson loves them and his siblings couldn't feed it to him fast enough! If he wasn't getting any, he would grunt loudly to make sure he wasn't forgotten!
He is very active, squirmy little guy. Trying to change a diaper is a bit of a challenge. He can crawl pretty fast as well. We filled the baby pool with water. Megan got his swimsuit top on, but he was so eager to get in the water that he crawled away and got into the pool before she got the bottoms on!

The Cousins
Abigail and Lizzy were here on the weekend. They enjoyed playing with each other. Lots of smiles and giggles.

Fun at Grandma's
I had wanted to get a baby swing for a quite awhile, but we could never find one. Finally found one last week - thanks, Megan. Abigail tested it out. We wondered if she would like it or not. She wasn't sure about it at first, but it didn't take long for her to get in the swing of things - pun intended.

And Then There Were Six
We welcomed Cole, our sixth grandchild, into our family yesterday. He is the first grandchild to carry on the Van Ausdal name. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 8 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long.
He joins his cousins Ross, Lizzy, Lincoln, Abigail and Benson.

Destruction Day
Thanks to the help of family, the old shed was razed and the beginning of a new foundation was begun over the weekend. Ross came prepared to help, bringing his
very own work gloves.

He was a hard worker and was so excited when Grandpa gave him some money for helping. When Grandpa asked him how much he thought he earned, he said $5.00. Justin suggested he shoot higher, so he went for $6.00. In the end he got $10.00 and felt like a rich man! He kept thinking out loud what he could spend his money on. I think in the end it will be some kind of Lego set.
