Visit Up North

Last weekend we went up to Smithfield to visit Bonnie and her family.  Abigail loves to get pushed around in this wastebasket.  It was definitely hard on this Grandma's back.  She loves her Fred Flintstone car!

Grayson is two months old.  Time goes by so quickly.  We love the cute smiles!

As a side trip we went to Preston, Idaho.  Kevin's maternal grandparents are buried there, so we visited their graves.  It was my first time to Preston.  Growing up in a small village - population 2,500, I expected Preston to be smaller. But there was actually a decent sized "downtown" area.

And the main reason that I wanted to visit Preston . . .

I had seen pictures of this quilt store in a magazine.  It was packed with fabrics, notions, etc.  I could have spent a LONG time in there, but since these kiddies you see were waiting in the car, that will just have to be another visit.

Cole vs. The Creampuff

Saturday we gathered to celebrate Brian's birthday.  It was supposed to be warm and we were supposed to eat on the deck.  And the children were going to play in the water.  But, it was cool and we ate inside.  And we still had a lot of fun.  I love the frozen mini creampuffs.  And others in our family like them as well.  They are small enough to fit in Cole's hand, so he first tested the squeezability and was delighted when the whip cream squished through his fingers.

He figured out they tasted pretty good, too!

And the winner is . . .

COLE!
